Herriman is the furthest west and south city in Salt Lake County, Utah, United States. Herriman shares borders with Riverton to the east, South Jordan to the north, and Bluffdale to the southeast. It has experienced huge growth from being a farming community to actual incorporation as a city in 1999.
The town is famous now because a builder constructed, with permission, a 100% accurate version of the Disney “UP House”. It was something Disney had never allowed before, but the sale was for a charitable cause. The buyers purchased the finished product for just under $500,000 and it can been seen the same today as when they bought it-the colors haven’t changed. Now Herriman is a bedroom community for the new NSA (National Security Agency) headquarters, located by the National Guard base-Camp Williams.
