Cortney Anderson

A greater Buffalo, New York area native, I moved to Salt Lake City to ski for a season or two after obtaining my bachelor’s degree in geology. 25 years later, the slopes at Snowbird still have me here. Although I came for the skiing, mountain biking has really kept me here, along with the friends I have made who are more like family now. As a college educated young man, I immediately found myself washing dishes at the SteakPit restaurant at Snowbird thus allowing me to ski over 100 days a year. I began to supplement my income in the slow summer seasons by learning carpentry. For the past 15 years I have been doing carpentry and have since obtained my general contractors license. Six years ago, I endured a broken tibia and fibula, just above my ski boot while skiing an amazing April storm. While laid up on the couch, I decided to obtain my realtors license and have been working with Urban Utah ever since. Just recently, I have also taken classes to become an InterNACHI certified home inspector. The skills I have obtained allow me to be well educated while touring homes for prospective home buyers.
